Your birth session is all about telling the story of your birth. You get all your images on a custom USB Drive (as well as digital downloads). These sessions are very intimate and custom please inquire to schedule a in person consult.

Q&A
Why should you hire me as your newborn photographer?
1. My passion is working with fresh new babies. I absolutely love everything about a newborn and watching a family grow.
2. I have photographed many many newborns. I have been professionally mentored / trained by some of the industries leading newborn photographers. I am fully license and insured. Safety is my number one priority during your session.
3. I have the most amazing newborn props and a fully stocked studio designed specifically for newborn photography.
4. I have a very successful workflow that I follow with almost all my newborn sessions. Sessions are also very baby-led, meaning I follow the movement of your sweet little baby, and work accordingly to make sure baby is happy and comfortable at all times.
Best time to schedule your newborn session?
Most my clients book months in advance, sometimes I am one of the first to know when my client is expecting (exciting, right?) I suggest booking as soon as possible to secure a spot. Your sweet new baby will be photographed between 1-3 weeks hearthside. I do offer fresh 48 hospital sessions. Those do need to be booked in advance to insure I am available for them. However, with that being said I will try my hardest to squeeze in any last minute newborn sessions so please don't hesitate to contact me.
How do I prepare for a newborn session
Once you have booked your newborn session we work together coordinating your session (or I am happy to plan it all). I send out a detailed prep guide and really there is very little for you to do. Show up to your session and let me handle it all for you.
Why should you hire me for as your family photographer?
1. I absolutely love working with families and getting kids to laugh and have a good time. Sessions are very family lead so no need to worry about having a "difficult" child, I will make every situation work!

5. I help design your family session from start to finish. Allowing access to my client closest as well as putting together your outfits based on what you have or online stores. I help coordinate all the small details.
Best time to schedule family photos?
My calendar does fill up pretty quickly especially during peek seasons. I LOVE summer family sessions. They top spring and fall for me. Nothing better than an eastern WA summer sunset. Spring blooms & fall foliage are both short windows and sessions are usually *rain or shine*. Spring blooms bring a feeling of life and happiness, and Fall does bring a cozy feeling with the colors changing and the leaves falling. I usually open mini sessions during spring/fall time but will entertain a full family session during these time. I do not book full sessions during winter. Occasionally I do have winter mini sessions, but full collections are not booked in the winter month. If winter happens to be your only availability message me for some options.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You have the option to order amazing quality high end one of a kind prints through me, however its not required that you order your prints through me. We can chat about what works best for you and your family. Some prints available are large canvas prints, high quality wooden art prints, boho & farm house frames. Custom albums and much more.
How do I prepare for a family session?
From outfit coordination to location scouting, I am here to help you every step of the way. I help coordination all your outfits, every detail and pick the very best location for your family session. As my 12 year old daughter would say "I slay". I like to be involved from start to finish. Helping coordinate all things like jewelry, layers, shoes, hair and makeup. On top of the one on one communication I send over a detailed prep guide that will help you and your family prepare for your session with me.
I am ready to get booked what do I need to do?
This is AWESOME!! I can't wait to work with you. The best thing to do is hop on over to my contact page - send me a message to coordinate your session date and we will secure your session with a contract and small retainer. Everything is super easy and I can't wait to start planning your session with you.
Do you offer outdoor newborn sessions?
I will offer outdoor newborn sessions if the weather is good. To coordinate this just send me a message and we will get that scheduled.
How long do newborn sessions last?
Newborn sessions are generally 2 hours sometimes they are a little less and sometimes they are more. Sessions are very baby lead. I do not go over 3 hours for a newborn session.
Do you offer other session besides newborn and family?
Yes! I offer milestone sessions (sitter and cake smash), professional headshots and senior sessions. I do not offer weddings or event photography.
Why is photography a large investment and why should we invest?
While I understand I might not be in the budget for some I really appreciate those who value art and are willing to invest in my work and ME. I feel like this will cover some questions on why your photography investment is what it is. COD(cost of doing business) is different for everyone so this is why you see different pricing. For lighting purposes photographers are limited to the amount of sessions they can take each day. I like to say think of this as booking someone to create lasting memories that you can NEVER get back. Think of this session as the start of ART in your home. Invest in your memories and moments with your loved ones. You will never regret having these memories, but you will regret not having them.
I don't know what to wear?
Styling is one of my favorite things. It's a big part of what makes such a successful session. You can select items from my client closet which I highly recommend *these pieces are specifically purchased because of how they photography* or we I can put together a full styling collage with links so you can purchase all your own items. I am here to help coordinate every detail and can't wait to get started. Each session is special and unique to you and your family. Have an idea of what you want but need help piecing it together? I am also here for that.
What is soft proofing?
After the session is complete we will go over your online proofing gallery on my site. From there you will select your favorite images (the amount included in your collection) and those are the images that I will finish editing. Your proofing gallery will be soft edited images, meaning they will need to be finalized with finishing touches on my end after you've made your selection. In your gallery you will see a couple fully edited images so you know what the final product will look like. This will allow you to hand select the 20 that you want to be completed and allow me to spend quality time working on the ones that you actually want. If you did want the full gallery you can upgrade to the full gallery.
What if I want all the images?
You can upgrade your gallery! I do not release unedited images, but happy to offer everyone gallery upgrades.
Do I need to bring anything to my newborn session?
No! My studio is full of amazing high quality props that are designed specifically for newborn sessions. I even have a client closet for siblings and mama.
